Children & Teens

Children and teens are growing up in a world that is becoming increasingly competitive, comparative, and superficial.

As a child athlete and mother of an 8 year old boy; I can attest much of my awareness has been experientially immersive.

When I was a competitive athlete on a ski team, we learned from psychologists; mental imagery, visualization, a winning mindset and how to overcome the fear and anxiety that came on competition days.

As a parent I’ve learned through reading, education, osmosis and communicative interchange between my son and I.  I am so very grateful for the opportunity to be a mom to this amazing little human.  I have loved the ups, downs, challenges, problems, and changes within him and welcome and embrace what the future holds.

My greatest wish and desire is to raise a confident, resourceful, kind, resilient young man, who believes and trusts in himself.

Isn’t that what all parents desire?

It’s no surprise that children are struggling to find coping strategies to handle everything being thrown at them in this fast paced world: school stressors, extra curricular, separated parents, lofty expectations, peer pressure, judgement of parents and teachers, social media and so many others.

How do we help them?

You either learn the skills or reach out to someone who can help.

I work with children, tweens and teens to affect positive change in their lives.  How do I do it?  It’s an individual choice, depending upon the topic or challenge, I have the availability to work with them through focused workshops, group work and individual one on one.  A consult call will always help you make the best choice for your little or big “superstar”.

We will focus on solutions and techniques to overcome their problem, challenges, and fears, such as: anxiety, confidence, “BIG” emotions, friendship issues, exams & homework, nightmares, bedwetting, fear of dogs, divorced parents, social pressures and identity, self image issues, and more.

Reach out if you think your “Superstar” might need some help.

My wish is for children and teens to live vibrant, connected, happy lives; to help them with tools and resources, that build confidence and can carry them into adulthood.  I care deeply about the mental health and well-being of the next generation. It’s so important to start life’s amazing journey on the right foot with a positive mindset.

The foundation for our self-esteem and values is rooted in our childhood experiences and beliefs.

Helping empower our youth!

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

It’s been 24 hours since I had my session and I already feel the shift, it’s incredible!  I came in for trusting myself and love.  I had a difficult 8 months of not really feeling like myself in love or business.  It’s like Rya turned on my light switch and now, my life is bright again.  I feel self content, happy, like me again, GREAT! Thank you Rya for the session.  I am so grateful for you and RTT and I highly suggest this for everyone.
